Pelvic floor occupational therapy is for patients with a specific medical diagnosis needing treatment. Pelvic floor occupational therapy commonly treats incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and more! Our Pelvic Floor OT specializes in treatment using a variety of techniques including exercise, activity modification, and manual therapy to optimize quality of life.

An Initial Evaluation is required for the diagnosis requiring treatment. A referral from a qualified provider will be needed to continue treatment after the initial evaluation per the Occupational Therapy Practice Act for the State of Texas.

Wellness

For women without a specific medical diagnosis looking to optimize function. Booking a wellness visit does not require an Initial Evaluation and therefore information taught cannot be taken as personal medical advice.

Leah Cipolla OTR/L

Leah is a licensed occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience working with individuals of all ages and diagnoses. Her background has given her a deep understanding of how the body functions as an integrated whole and how healing requires both compassion and knowledge. Before becoming an occupational therapist, Leah worked as a teacher—a foundation that now shines through in her love for educating and empowering her patients to understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery.

Leah’s passion for pelvic health grew from her own personal experiences with endometriosis, infertility, and miscarriage. These challenges deepened her empathy and strengthened her calling to walk alongside women on their healing journeys with gentleness, faith, and encouragement.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Leah outdoors with her husband and 5-year-old son, taking beach trips whenever possible, or trying a new recipe at home.
